Sharvari Luth
Artist + Architect + Educationist + Columnist
Sharvari Luth, who is an Artist and an Architect, established her own studio more than twenty years ago. With a unique background of Art and Architecture, today she is an accomplished artist giving her complete attention to vivid imaginations over canvas, on sculptures and installations too. She performs the role of an Art Consultant and Art Advisor for a few renowned corporations.
She also graces the position of Vice-Chairperson of R.S Luth Education Trust which runs two premier schools in Nashik, Fravashi Academy & Fravashi International Academy. She is also the Trustee of P.N. Mehta Educational Trust which comprises Boys’ Town Public School & Junior College. She is the creative head of both the schools. She has initiated several art related programs, workshops and activities for children. She is confident that this will spread the love of art as well as underline its importance during the formative years of children.
Self-taught in Art, Sharvari has equipped herself with intricacies of visual art, practice as well as theory and explores all forms of expression from realistic to geometric abstractions to reach to her idiom that we see today. She has further explored in detail the field of Art Therapy, Colour Therapy and dwelled deeply into Colour Consultancy. She has been in the field of Art since more than two decades now, having her expressions painted over more than 500 art works. She has explored many mediums, but her expertise lies in acrylics and oils on canvas, sculptures and installations.
She is influenced by great Indian artists like S.H Raza, Vasudeo Gaitonde as well as international artists like Piet Mondrian, Mark Rothko and Frank Stella.
Her art exhibitions have been instrumental in financially supporting the education and development of rural and underprivileged children in Nashik district. Through her Mumbai exhibition in 2015, the funds were raised for Cancer research and treatment of children at Tata Cancer Memorial Hospital, Mumbai through Terry Fox Foundation.
Through her exhibition in Jehangir Art Gallery in 2018, the funds were raised for Divyaj Foundation.
Her artworks have received rave reviews and have been written about in all leading newspapers like Times of India, DNA, Maharashtra Times, Lokmat, Mumbai Mirror, Mid-day, Hindustan Times, Sakal, etc in India as well as Current Masters- 4 of US, Contemporary Art of USA..
Her works are in the collection of eminent, illustrious personalities like Hon. Ratan Tata, Hon. Dr Raghunath Mashelkar, Shri Amitabh Bachchanji, Shri Eknathji Shinde ( Hon. Chief Minister of Maharashtra), Shri Devendra Fadnavis (Hon. Deputy Chief Minister, Maharashtra), Mr Satish Mathur ( Ex-Director General of Police, Maharashtra ), Mr.M.S Bitta ( Chairman, All India Anti Terrorist Front ), Ms Hema Malini, Atul Kulkarni, Sachin Khedekar, Mrinal Kulkarni, Late Reema Lagu ( Hindi/Marathi film actors ), Mr Noshir Talathi ( Eminent architect), Mr Gev Patel (VP-Sales, Taj group of Hotels), , Mrs Vidya Yeravdekar (Principal Director, Symbiosis Society). Her several paintings are adorning the Bombay House (Global headquarters of Tata Group), Hotel Taj Gateway (Nashik), Hotel Marriott Courtyard (Nashik) and in many more edifices in India as well as in United States of America, Dubai, Sweden, Finland, Singapore etc.
She has ventured into Sculptures, Installations and Furniture Design too and is garnering appreciation for the same.

- The ‘Achiever Award’ by Lions Club of Nashik in 2008.
- In 2011, on 8th March, the International Womens Day, The Woman Entrepreneur Award by the Women’s Forum, North Maharashtra.
- In 2012, Felicitation by the Fine Arts Society, United Kingdom for her philanthropy work in the field of Art.
- In 2013, Awarded the ‘Mahila Gaurav Puraskar’ by the Maharashtra Sanskrutik Dynanapith.
- In 2014, Awarded the ‘Girana Gaurav Puraskar’ by the Girana Gaurav Pratishthan for her contribution in the field of Art.
- In 2015, on the International Womens Day, awarded the ‘Woman Icon of Nashik’ by the Sakal Media Group.
- In 2016, Awarded the ‘Maharashtra Nari Ratna 2016’ by the Akhil Bhartiya Yuva Manch ( Nashik Chapter ).
- Awarded the Navdurga Puraskar of 2017 by Kalika Devi Mandir Sansthan and Krida Sadhana.
- She and her Art were featured in one of the best Art publications in the world, ‘Current Masters – 4’, and where she was considered as one of the top contemporary artists in the world and the only one from India.
- Received the ‘Punes’s Most Powerful Award – 2019-20’ by The Femina and Times of India Group for her contribution and philanthrophy in the field of Art.
- Received the Time2Leap Award – MSME Edition 2020 for outstanding accomplishment as an Independent Artist and Architect of the Year.
- Received the AspiringShe Women Achiever Award 2020 by the AspiringShe Women Achiever Forum.
- In 2020, received ‘The Artist of the Future Award’ by the US based Contemporary Art Curator Magazine.
- In 2021, received ‘The Collector’s Vision International Art Award’ by Contemporary Art Curator Magazine, USA.
- In 2022, received ‘Woman of Excellence Award 2021-22’ by Indian Achievers’ Forum in recognition of Outstanding Professional Achievement.
- In Jan 2023, she received the ‘Rashtriya Dipastambh Puraskar’ by Balshastri Jambhekar Patrakar Sangh.
In 2020, throughout the year she wrote a weekly column in Nashik’s daily newspaper ‘Sakal’ on Art – its journey, importance and characteristics. She has been garnering a good response for that.
She also curated the Global Online Art Competition (Fravashi Art Fiesta) in 2020, supported by Sakal Media Group and MTC Global, with participation of more than 17,000 students across the world..
